Harmony Hill and The Jungle Nook are our luxurious villas, tucked away in a traditional village in the heart of Bali. Perched upon a ridge, overlooking a gorgeous valley and luscious rice fields, we are a scenic 30 minute drive away from both the bustling town of Ubud in the South and the jaw dropping volcanic landscapes of Mount Batur in the North.
Our aim is to offer you a unique opportunity to find sanctuary in nature, while enjoying the comfort of our beautiful villa and the thoughtful service of our team.

Our kitchen is naturally kosher and halal, and we are more than happy to cater to jain requirements on request. A large part of our menu is glutenfree and we are ready to cater to any food allergies or sensitivities. Just contact us!

Good To Know
- At Harmony Hill, we live alongside the vibrant creatures that have called this place home long before we arrived. You'll spot beautiful butterflies fluttering through the air and playful squirrels in the trees, as well as perhaps some less familiar jungle creatures like beetles and lizards. As night falls, you might be lucky enough to see fireflies dancing over the rice paddies... Just look at that little smiley face :)
- The largest and furriest creatures you're likely to encounter are our four Bali kittens - all foundlings who found their way into our hearts
- Harmony Hill and The Jungle Nook are located halfway between Ubud and the majestic UNESCO geopark of Mount Batur. We are at an elevation of 500m. That means we don't need aircon and can instead rely on natural ventilation to ensure you have a restful sleep.
- We do our best to make our villas as sustainable as possible
- We capture and filter rain water for toilets and showers
- Our drinking water is filtered using ancient ceramic filtering techniques (find out more on Terra's website)
- Our menu evolves with the seasons and nearly all our products are locally sourced
- We are building a food garden, which provides jackfruit, durian, passion fruit, chaya (the miracle spinach tree) amongst other treasures
- Any food scraps are composted in our garden
- We are striving to make our villa plastic free
- We have one car parking spot available. You may keep your scooters here and drop-offs by car are of course no problem at all, but if you plan to keep more than one car here during your stay, please let us know in advance, so that we may help arrange parking for you.

How far is Harmony Hill from central Ubud?
We are located in the peaceful Tampaksiring region, about a 30-minute drive from the center of Ubud.
Is breakfast included in the stay?
Yes, a nourishing homecooked breakfast is included with your stay. We offer savoury options like avocado toast with scrambled tofu and sweet delights like waffles and chia pudding. We also pride ourselves on serving locally grown arabica coffee. For more details, please take a look at our menu.
Can you assist with transport?
Is your villa child friendly?
Yes we absolutely love to welcome children 🙂 I would say about half our guests are families with children, including little ones. There’s lots of fun activities to do around. There’s just a few things to consider:
• Our villa is on a slope so the deck overlooks the pool below. You can see the railing here:
• The pool is not fenced off
• Our garden flows seamlessly into the valley and surrounding nature. That means native Bali wildlife can sometimes visit our garden as well. We have only seen one snake in the year that we have been open and it wasn’t dangerous, but we want to call it out as encounters can always happen. On the more fun side, we get lots of butterflies, squirrels and even fireflies at night. We also have 3 cats :) Every child is different so we want to give you the best information upfront so you can decide what feels right for your family 🙏😌 We are happy to offer a childminding service (IDR 50K/hour).
